ELEVATE Basketball announces that Summer Basketball registration is NOW OPEN! ELEVATE will be hosting 10 Summer Camps this 2024 Summer. Between July 8-26, ELEVATE will be hosting 7 Summer Camps (1 Mini Stars Camps (Boys Gr 2-4 & Girls Gr 1-4), 3 Rising Stars Camps (Boys Gr 3-5 & Gr 6-7, Girls Gr 3-5 & 6-7), & 3 ELITE Training Camps (Boys Gr 8-9 & 10-11, Girls Gr 8-9 & 10-11). During the last week of August, ELEVATE will be hosting 4 Pure Shooting Camps (Boys Gr 3-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, Girls Gr 2-4, 5-7, is 8-9, 10-11). Summer Basketball Camps will be run at three different locations (South Surrey, Langley, Cloverdale) to provide a camp in an area near you! The camps will be fun and exciting and players will be coming home excited to play and continue their development in basketball. All age and skill levels will experience two key elements: success and challenge. The younger groups (Gr 1-4) will be heavily focusing on the fundamentals (dribbling, passing, shooting, defence) in fun and dynamic strategies. They will play in a number of various games and experience proper game play by participating in structured game time. The middle age groups (Gr 5-7) will receive an emphasis on fundamentals and skill development (offensive and defensive strategies). They will be taught elements of off the ball movement and other next level understanding of basketball. The older age groups (Gr 8-12) will refine their fundamentals, elaborate offensive and defensive strategies, and participate in up-tempo game play action.
