COACH ADAM PAIGE
ELEVATE BASKETBALL Hoops Nights, Camps, & Small Group Training
Current USports Basketball Player at University of Alberta
Coach Paige started playing basketball in grade 3 and has kept the same love for the game to this day. He played every sport he could in his early years at Semiahmoo Secondary, especially loving basketball where he was coached by Coach Janzen in grade 9. He would play on the Senior team for the following three years gaining numerous individual awards while keeping Semiahmoo as a provincial powerhouse. After a successful high school career, Coach Paige chose to go to school in Edmonton and continue his basketball career for the University of Alberta Golden Bears. After his first year averaging 9 ppg and 5 rpg he was named the Canada West Rookie of the Year and part of the Usports national all rookie team. That summer Paige got a stint with the Canadian Junior National Team, which was full of D1 athletes and possible future NBA players. After a couple games in France repping the Maple Leaf, Coach Paige came home and helped propel the Golden Bears to a top 3 ranking nationally where he averaged 13 ppg (2nd best on the team) on 42% from 3. Coach Paige’s love for basketball and coaching definitely sprouts from the many great coaches he had in his younger playing days. Seeing the difference they can make in a kid inspires him to do the same thing for the next generation.
