Coach Alison is a former high school and club basketball player. In university, she played varsity field lacrosse for the Queen’s Golden Gaels and The University of Western Ontario Mustangs. She began her teaching career in Toronto and coached both U13 soccer and Senior Boys field lacrosse. While Coach Alison pursued lacrosse in university, basketball has always been her first love. Once she moved to BC, she sought teaching roles with coaching opportunities and is currently coaching Grade 7 girls’ basketball at Southridge School.

Coaching has always been a passion for her. She enjoys working with individual players to help them set and strive for personal growth goals within a team environment. Her inspiration for coaching comes from being grateful for the opportunities she was afforded as a young athlete thanks to the dedication and mentorship of her coaches. She is very excited to be part of the Elevate coaching team and believes wholeheartedly in the philosophy of developing good players with great character.
