Monday “Mini Hoopers” Hoops Nights (MHN) is a developmental basketball program held at Town & Field Church in Langley, B.C. The Mini Hoopers Nights (K-2) precedes our Hoops Nights program (Gr 3-7). With an emphasis on sportsmanship and fun, MNH is designed to teach grade 1-3 boys & girls fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and passing. Monday Mini Hoopers Nights features carefully chosen, fun and excited modified games/drills that are designed to teach and reinforce the fundamental mechanics in basketball skills, followed by modified games (1 v 1, 2 v 2, and 3 v 3)!
Character development is stressed in all of the ELEVATE Mini Hoopers Nights programs. At ELEVATE, we believe in an ‘inside-out’ coaching philosophy, which focuses on character development and the building of strong core/moral values in each individual. Using the game of basketball, in a coaching/mentorship approach, our passion is to teach such inner disciplines as: commitment, work ethic, and perseverance, which will set players up for success on the court, in the classroom, and ultimately in life! ELEVATE hoops nights also strive to create community in the program, by developing youth who are ‘others-focused’ and who understand what it means to be a team player!

*** All Elevate Monday “Mini Hoopers” Hoops Night players must wear an ELEVATE reversible jersey every Monday night (returning players who already have a jersey do not need to purchase another one). Jerseys can be purchased for $39.50 + tax online during the online registration process. Also, each player is required to bring his/her own age-appropriate basketball every Monday night. ELEVATE basketballs are available for purchase online for $29.50 + tax.
