ELEVATE Basketball welcomes Coach Kris Galindez to the ELEVATE Coaching Staff. Kris’s first experience with ELEVATE was as a mentor coach in his senior year (grade 12) at Clayton Heights Secondary (Surrey) for our Thursday Hoops Night program. At that time, Kris was named one of the best point guards in the province. With great passion and determination, Kris obtained a scholarship to play NCCAA D1 basketball at West Coast Baptist, in California. Coach Kris and Coach Janzen created a great mentorship bond during his time in the states. Throughout his career Kris would come back and coach in summer camps with ELEVATE. Kris graduated with a business degree and not long after got married. Together Kris and his wife have retuned to BC, Canada and Coach Kris is working full-time with ELEVATE. Currently, Coach Kris is coaching in our Hoops Nights, Camps, Club Teams, and small group/private training programs, as well has been named the “Creative Director” of the club. Coach Kris is a passionate and caring coach, and seeks to encourage all players to be the best they can be. We are thrilled here at ELEVATE to have such an amazing, high character coach in Kris Galindez. Welcome on board Coach KG!
