Coach Vaughan is a former Division I basketball player, playing at Santa Clara University before transferring back to her hometown to finish her playing career at Simon Fraser University. While living out her dream of playing basketball at a high level, Coach Vaughan followed her passion for working with youth and went on to become a teacher. Once her playing career wrapped up, she knew her involvement with basketball was only just beginning and wanted to give back to the game that gave her so many opportunities and invaluable life experiences. Coaching now for 5 years, Coach Vaughan brings vast experience and a love for the game that she hopes to instill in all the athletes she works with.

  • High School: Senior Girls Provincial Champions 2013, Senior Girls Basketball 1st Team All-Star 2013 & 2014, Captain of U17 Provincial Team, 2nd Team All-star at U15 National Championships, Participated in Team Canada Selection Camps (2012-2014)
  • University: Member of the Santa Clara University Women’s Basketball Team (2015-2017), Transferred to play at Simon Fraser University (2017-2018)
  • Education: BA in Education (SFU)
